Introduction

Locker quickly locks and unlocks a list of channels (Text, Voice, Categories).

Features

  • Chat & Slash Commands. All commands come in both Chat and Slash Command variants (/)

  • Multiple Channels. The locklist can hold multiple channels, quickly locking and unlocking them all in one go. It doesn't matter if they're text, voice or even categories.

  • Single-Purpose. No confused functionality or command bloat, Locker does one thing and it does it right.

Motivation

The primary motivation for starting this project was to have an incredibly lightweight, performant and easy-to-use bot focusing on doing one thing extremely well: Locking and unlocking a list (or even a single one) channels.

Locker provides only one component and will never extend beyond that scope. By doing this it will hopefully resolve issues where servers are forced to get bots with multitudes of commands and purposes (and potentially unwanted behavior) just to be able to quickly lock and unlock potential problematic channels for whatever reason.

Single-Purpose Bots

Locker is a part of the Single-Purpose Bots (SPB) group, which has a Discord.

This group is a collection of bots that offer singular options so every server owner is able to fine-tune their bot collection to perfection.

Gone are the days of adding a bot with countless features, and potential loopholes or security issues, just for one specific feature that you need. SPB offers bots that are each tailored to do just one thing, and they make sure to do it well. Get what you want without hidden surprises, in the saying of "it does what's on the tin"!
